*Note* From now on I'll upload my comics here on Wednesdays, where as I upload the comic to my Site on Mondays. Just to give people a little insentive to check my actual site if they want the comic earlier. ;)

Just call me Captian Overkill!

Every comic that I do, I try to push myself one step further, to improve on my artistic skills. But this time I think I just went overboard. I've been working on this strip for the last 5 days or so with almost my entire free time. And seeing as I get pretty drained from doing art normally, I'm not sure how I'm still breathing right now... @.=.@

I learned quite a few things with this comic. Like a decent looking coloring for hair (I'm just really happy with DB's hair in the second frame ;p), think I did pretty good with the perspective and background (Both of which I'm really not very good at) and I think my shadding on clothing and such has improved a bit. ^=^

Though I've been staring at this thing so long, I'm not even sure anymroe if my effort and hard work shows anymore. It lost a bit when I shrunk it to it's current size (I've started making these at 200% of the size you view it, and shrink to fit better). And I'm far from the master of thinking things through. A couple of parts of the backgrounds I had put a good bit of effort into gor cut off when I added the speach bubbles. Because I forgot about them entirely untill I was ready to add the text... >.=.<; For example in the second frame I actually planned and drew out the second floor of the mall with little bridges and such going across, along with lighting, stores, etc. But that's all covered now >.=.o Maybe I'll upload it to my site just for anyone who's interested. I just really liked it, but there was no way to fit DB's dialogue anywhere else that loked good. *sigh*

Well enough of my babbling, here's the long overdue comic. I put a LOT of effort into this one, so I really hope you enjoy it!

The second panel is awesome. I agree with you on DB's hair... It... makes me want to poke it. xD But honestly. It's very good. In fact his expression in general was very well done. Great panel, like I said.

I also like the sixth and seventh panel; Neo's face... Haha priceless. Good job. ^^

Hmm, I dunno, I think you lost all the 'wow factor' when you shrunk it man.
Just totally playing with ya. Seriously though man, even between the last comic and this there is a definite improvement. I love the detail you put into it, all the way down to Neos' reflection in the sword.

Two things though, one: you flattened my hair in one of the frames, not at all a big deal, but since you nag me about it all the time.....
second: it appears as though Night is way buffer than all of us, and we all know how unlikely that is.

Course now that I have seen this, I have no more drive or motivation in attempting my next comic dude. THANKS!
